"Vieux Kyoto", partly hand-painted Limoges porcelain, designed by Alberto Pinto and reflecting the French star designer's love for traditional art in Japan. Probably the most important city in Japan from a historical and cultural point of view, Kyoto still has more than 1,600 Buddhist temples, 400 Shinto shrines and countless palaces and gardens to admire. One of the many royal palaces symbolizing ancient Japan adorns the dinner set. Next to it, silhouettes of trees also adorn the porcelain. On the one hand, this design seems to be as light as a Japanese ink drawing, on the other hand, the combination of dark brown and gold seems to communicate classical poetry and luxurious splendor with sincerity.
