David Thulstrup Penumbra S

Designed in collaboration with renowned Danish architect David Thulstrup, Penumbra is a striking central piece made of polished stainless steel and is available in three different sizes. The piece is defined by a carefully contrasting combination of shapes with an oval central rectangular frame. Penumbra uniquely blends artistic influences from the different design movements Georg Jensen has practiced over the last century, from Art Nouveau to Functionalism. The title of the piece, "Penumbra," which refers to an area of partial illumination, references the design's play of light through contrasting shapes.
