Description
René Lalique placed the anemone flower, a symbol of purity and innocence, at the center of most of his jewelry and decorative objects. In 1912, he designed a vase with an anemone motif in blue patinated glass using the "cire perdue" technique.
With the Anemone collection, Lalique presents this creation as vases, bowls, perfume bottles and candle holders in many different sizes and colors. Shaped with mattified and re-polished crystal, the flowers are brought together in a graphic play on repetition, capturing the ephemeral beauty of flowers.
