Butterfly Ginkgo Large Storage Box

The Butterfly Ginkgo Collection celebrates the representation of Flora as Fauna. Michael Aram's fascination with a particular type of ginkgo tree, known as Ginkgo Biloba or "Butterfly Ginkgo", has resulted in a fantastic image of this tree growing with double leaves reminiscent of a butterfly's wings. Each piece is made entirely of brass with the highest level of craftsmanship and features hand-carved cocoon-shaped vessels. The pieces in the collection are a masterpiece of the handcrafting process and capture the deeply poetic spirit of Michael Aram's work.

"When I first saw this tree, it looked like it was completely taken over by butterflies... As if if I got too close or made a sound and they would all fly away. It seemed magical to me that the leaves could evoke the beauty of butterflies, like trees that can change from Flora to Fauna in the blink of an eye."
