"I grew up around pomegranates - from their use as natural dyes in the antique rugs I crawled on as a baby, to their use as a staple ingredient in the foods I love. Back home in New Delhi, I wake up every morning to the taste of freshly squeezed pomegranate juice. The color, the smell, the delicate flavor, all of it makes it feel like a magical elixir to me."
